JD Refuses to Step Down

November 8th, 2006

Even with the early voting tabulated, JD is a loser.  This from the Maricopa County Elections office:

US Rep Dst 5
100% (250 of 250) precincts reporting
Vote for 1 EV VOTES TOTAL VOTES
REP - HAYWORTH, J.D. 3537 65122
DEM - MITCHELL, HARRY 3241 71077
LBT - SEVERIN, WARREN 166 4620

It is just like JD to deny his opponent his glorious election day in the sun.  What a baby. They will probably have to have the military drag him out of his lofty Congressional office.

Hayworthless is a Loser!!

November 7th, 2006

With 75% of the precincts reporting, JD is a looser with only 44% of the vote.  As always I knew that CD5 was not a bunch of stupid Republican robots.   Read it here.

JD Dresses Down Students at ASU

November 3rd, 2006

In an interview with the ASU Web Devil, JD Hayworth shows his true colors.  He talks down to the student rag in the following:

What are the most important issues for ASU? (asked by Web Devil)

I think funding for continuing research. I think it's vitally important … in terms of just research investment from the federal government coming to ASU, to continue to move it into distinction as a major research institution. We want research and want ASU as a major learning center in the 21st century to be second to none.

When I think of cutting edge research, I think of stem cells.  JD is squarely against stem cell research as funded by the federal government.  Just what "investment from the federal government" does JD Hayworth think is coming to ASU?  Perhaps some weapons research or chemical weapon research….

When asked why ASU students should vote for JD Hayworth, he cites the research reasons once again:

Why should ASU students vote for you?

I mean what I say and I say what I mean. I've been one of the best advocates for increased research at ASU. I've worked hard so we've been prepared for the 21st century. I think I have a proven record for success.

I mean what I say and I say what I meant…isn't that a FogHorn LegHorn quote?  I challenge JD to name one political action he has put forth - yet sponsored even, that has brought reasearch dollars to ASU.

Mama always said she drowned the dumb ones…perhaps JD's mom let this one go because he was squealing so loud.

Judge Sentences Man Linked to Ambramoff

October 28th, 2006

The NY Times reports that David Safian, a White House Budget Official, that lied to investigators about his relationship to convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff, has been sentenced to 18 months in jail.

Judge Paul Freedman of the Federal District Court admonished the convicted liar at sentencing.  His remarks reflect the publics growing disgust with the current culture of corruption in Washington.  According to the Times:

“He came to work in an environment that has become, frankly, more and more corrupt,” Judge Friedman said in announcing Mr. Safavian’s sentence, which was half of the three-year prison term sought by the Justice Department.

“It’s become corrupted by money,” Judge Friedman added. “You’ve literally got lobbyists sitting in Congressional offices writing legislation. That’s what’s going on.”

Mr. Safavian’s crimes, he said, were a “classic case of abuse of the public’s trust.”

JD Hayworth, this one's for you:  Bad boys, bad boys…whacha gonna do…..whacha gonna do when they come for you?
