JD’s Bandwagon Book

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

If there is a bandwagon within a mile of JD, he jumps on.  The latest trend in political propaganda is publishing books to get the word out to the masses.  Hayworth’s latest project is such a book, co-written by his chief of staff, Rove-wannabe Joe Eule, titled Whatever It Takes

The publisher, Regnery Publishing Inc, has put out other quality literature such as the 2004 book, Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Vererans Speak Out Against John Kerry

Amazon.com has released the drivel on the inside jacket cover.  "JD has walked the border and seen firsthand the devastation that illegal immigration inflicts on law-abiding Americans."  He must have been served a hamburger from McDonalds during his walk.

It goes on, "How illegal immigration steals jobs from American workers and reduces their pay."  JD must have come up with that while he was eating that hamburger….or perhaps he was thinking about when he voted down an increase in minimum wage.

JD pulls out the infamous fear card, "Why illegal alien murders and rapists walk free along our streets and how our perverse laws may actually encourage ilegal alien gangs to kill".  I’m sure we have citizens who are rapist and murders, and we should spend the money to get them all off the street, not waste it building a worthless wall around the country.

The final insult, "(this) is a book that needed to be written, but which no one had the courage to write until J.D. Hayworth took up his pen."

I feel a swift boat about to whisk me away.

Hayworth to Keep Dirty Money

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

Hayworth’s cheif of staff, Joe Eule, told the Arizona Republic that he has no intention of returning money, totaling over$150,000, he received from Tribes through Abramoff.  According to Eule, "The tribes have told us ‘We love you.  We loved you before we met Jack Abramoff, we love you after Jack Abramoff, and we think it would be foolish of you to (give back) the money, " Eule said.

So far this statement has not been corroborated by any Tribal spokesman.

If the Tribes loved JD as much as that, they would take back the money, then turn around and give it to him again, this time free and clear of any Abramoff involvement.  Either JD is not that smart or he is afraid he would not see the money again if he returned it.

By the way, according to the FEC to date Jack Abramoff has personally given JD $1000 and his leadership PAC $1000 (which just goes to JD’s wife anyway).  Jack has contributed personally the most to Tom DeLay, about $10,000, which goes to show you are the company you keep.

JD Still Under Pressure to Return Money

Friday, December 23rd, 2005

According to KVOA in Tuscon, JD Hayworth won’t be giving back the $150,000 plus campaign contributions he has received from disgraced, ex-lobyist Jack Abramoff.   Hayworth’s cheif of staff, Joe Eule, says Hayworth has no reason to return the money because he claims the Indian tribes wanted him to have it.  Eule claims that JD has his own influence with the Indian tribes and he did not need Jack Abramoff to get him Indian money, even though JD had taken gifts and done favors, such as writing letters in support of certain legislation,  for Abramoff in the past.

JD continues to be in denial about being caught up on the Culture of Corruption.

Abramoff may Implicate JD in Bribery Scandal

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

It is well knon that JD Hayworth is one of the top receipients of money from the crooked Abramhoff camp.  Several times JD has refused to return the money even though he knows it’s tainted.  JD has received suite tickets and other gifts from Abramoff in exchange for writing letters and legislation for the lobbyist.

JD better wake up and smell the coffee.  The AP reported today that Abramoff may strike a deal with procecutors in exchange for implicating members of Congress that conspired with him by giving him political favors in exchange for money and gifts.

Jack Abramoff could end up pleading guilty under an arrangement that would settle a criminal case against him in another state as well as potential charges in Washington.  Abramoff will sing like a bird to keep himself out of jail, and JD will end up in his chorus.

Recently, members of Congress who accepted campaign donations from Abramoff’s clients have begun returning the money as the investigation ratchets up in intensity.  Among those returning the most money is Sen. Conrad Burns, R-Mont., for an estimated $150,000.

JD Hayworth has received over $100,000 himself, but he still refuses to return the dirty money.

JD has been “Arizonaed”

Sunday, December 11th, 2005

The gasbag is biting the hand that feeds him.  Despite pleas by President Bush and the Republican Party chairman, Ken Mehlman imploring House leaders not to take up what they call an "enforcement-only" bill, arguing that such a punitive measure could jeopardize years of Republican outreach to Latinos, JD is choosing to do his own thing.

Drunk with power after his last game with the House over the Iraq war, Republican leaders have promised. JD and his friends claim action is needed immediately to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, and such efforts should not be held up as lawmakers wrangle over the intricacies of the president’s guest-worker program.  JD is rushing in before thinking AGAIN.

The Washington Post has this quote from JD:  "With all due respect, this is not a political problem to be managed. This is an invasion to be stopped."

Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), a conservative loyalist who rarely disagrees with Hayworth, all but charged Hayworth with grandstanding, linking him to the House’s anti-immigration firebrand Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.).

"Hayworth has gone Tancredo on us," said Flake, who agrees with Bush that a guest-worker program must be part of any immigration bill.

Hayworth maintained that his position — not Flake’s — represents the views of his border state. "I have not been Tancredoed," he said. "I’ve been Arizonaed."

 Arizonaed?  Gimme a break.
